"Back in 2016 when I was pregnant with my first daughter Jayla, I knew I wanted a doll for her that I never had. I grew up in a multi-cultural family, my mom is Latina of Puerto Rican heritage and my father African American (both are from Harlem NYC.) I didn’t have toys during my childhood that really looked like me.

Sometimes in life you have to create the space you wished existed. So that’s what Jayla & I are doing together now! Our mission is to create handcrafted, timeless, & diverse dolls because we believe every child deserves to feel represented."
